Billing Specialist

OBC billing specialists help and support optometrists with all of their billing and credentialing needs and insure every claim for every client receives full reimbursement.

Job Duties:

• Bill insurance carriers by electronic data entry
• Resolve denied claims
• Process and post insurance payments
• Post patient payments
• Follow-up on unpaid claims

Skills/Qualifications

• Data Entry Skills
• Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Self-motivated
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
